French 20th Century Sapphire Diamonds 18 Karat Yellow Gold Ring
About the Item
Ring in 18 karat yellow gold and platinum, own and grotesque hallmarks.
Antique ring from the beginning of the XXth century, its flat mounting is decorated in closed setting with a splendid cushion-cut sapphire in a surrounding of antique cushion-cut diamonds. The setting is openwork with arabesque decoration and the profile of the ring is engraved with floral decorations on both sides.
Weight of the sapphire : 6 carats approximately. Natural sapphire without treatment and originating in Ceylon, accompanied by its certificate of the French laboratory of gemmology.
Total weight of the diamonds : about 0.40 carat.
Height : 17.5 mm, width : 15 mm, thickness : 5 mm approximately, width of the ring at the base : 1.8 mm approximately.
Total weight of the jewel : 6,8 g approximately.
