A fine and impressive vintage 1.48 carat natural emerald and 1.08 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold cocktail ring; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections This impressive vintage 1970s cluster ring has been crafted in 18k white gold. The ring displays a 1.48 carat step cut natural emerald held in relief to the center of the abstract design. The multi-layered frame is embellished with twelve individually claw / prong set modern brilliant round cut diamonds and six individually claw / prong set baguette cut diamonds. All the diamonds are well color matched. The tapering, elevated shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked 18k white gold ring shank. This impressive abstract ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. "Rather than regarding inclusions in colored stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics." Condition This impressive example of authentic vintage jewelry is fine quality, set with a natural emerald and well color matched, very high color graded and high clarity graded diamonds. The ring is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition. The natural emerald has a surface blemish, and the ring has been priced accordingly. The 18k gold hallmark -750- to the interior of the ring shank is clear.
