About the Item

A fine and impressive vintage 0.84 carat natural emerald and 0.50 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold cluster ring; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections This impressive vintage emerald cut cluster ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a 18k white gold diamond setting. The impressive feature 0.84 Ct emerald cut natural emerald held in relief in four 18k yellow gold swallow tipped claws / prongs to the center of the design. Ten individually claw / prong set modern brilliant round cut diamonds encircle the emerald in a modern 18k white gold cluster design. The flared, angular shoulders are each embellished with a bezel set tapering baguette cut diamond. The channelled 18k yellow gold shank bifurcates at the junction with the setting, supporting and integrating with the underside of the mount. This unusual emerald cut emerald ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. This emerald ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold. "Rather than regarding inclusions in colored stones as harmful, in small sizes and numbers that do not in any way detract from their beauty, they should be regarded as adding to desirability, for they provide identifying characteristics."
