About the Item

The hallmarks inside this glamorous cocktail ring allow us to identify it as a product of the manufactory F.A. Gioelli in the Italian town of Valenza, founded in 1960. Like many Italian jewels of its time, it perfectly embodies the "dolce vita" attitude both in its design and high quality materials. Its expressive cluster design is typical of the years around 1970. An emerald in an intense, vivid hue of green with beautiful transparency is the protagonist of the ring, weighing more than 3.6 carats and showing a slight "jardin". Its quality suggests a Columbian origin. The green gemstone is presented within a frame of marquise-cut diamonds in very good clarities (internally flawless to very small inclusions). Both types of gemstones intensify each other in their brightness and are presented in unobtrusive white gold settings that allow a maximum amount of light to bring out their vibrancy. The quality of the materials has been independently certified by a renowned gemological institute and its replacement value placed at EUR 23.590,-. The certificate will be delivered with the ring.
