A stunning and impressive antique 1.35Ct blue sapphire and 2.06Ct diamond, 18k yellow gold and platinum set dress ring; part of our antique jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive sapphire and diamond dress ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum setting.
The cushion cut sapphire ring with diamonds has a chevron shaped design ornamented to the upper border with a pierced decorated, trefoil style setting.
The trefoil shaped setting displays an 18k yellow gold eight claw set 1.35Ct cushion cut blue sapphire and two platinum claw set Old European cut diamonds.
The chevron shaped setting is embellished with eleven pavé set Old European cut diamonds.
The 18k yellow gold ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank.
This impressive cushion cut sapphire ring with diamonds has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k gold and platinum.
NOTE: * The Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) lab has verbally accredited the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and verifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.
The ring is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the sapphire and supporting stones.
Condition
This stunning original antique ring is fine quality set with a stunning Basaltic blue sapphire displaying a fine colour and brilliance. The high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition; the sapphire shows signs of surface wear, in keeping with age.

An impressive antique 1.32 carat natural sapphire and 0.81 carat diamond, 15 karat yellow gold dress ring; part of our diverse estate jewelry collections.
This fine and impressive sapphire and diamond ring has been crafted in 15k yellow gold.
The pierced decorated, scrolling setting features an Old European round cut diamond bezel set to the center.
The feature diamond is flanked on either side with round mixed cut natural sapphires.
This ring is further accented with two pairs of eight cut diamonds set within triangular shaped frames between the feature stones.
The elevated, flared, scroll and grove decorated ring shoulders blend seamlessly with the plain 15k yellow gold hallmarked ring shank.
The hallmarks to the interior of the shank included the London Assay Office mark (leopards head), gold guarantee mark (crown) and date letter for 1979 (E).
This ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate one for the feature diamond, in addition to the diamond grading report card illustrated.

Condition
This sapphire and diamond ring is fine quality, set with impressive natural sapphires and very high color graded old cut diamonds. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and in excellent condition, the English hallmarks to the interior ring shank are slightly worn but remain legible.
