About the Item

This voluminous dome right hand, or cocktail, 18 Karat white gold and diamond ring designed by Towe Norlen in 2015, has 176 hand set Top Wesselton (TW vvs) high quality diamonds. In total 15.6 Carats. Its highest point from the dome to the finger, is 14 mm. The pave-set surface is calibrated with larger diamonds of circa 4 mm size on the ring's upper part, circa 2 mm size on the side parts, and circa 1 mm size on the lower part. Each stone is carefully hand picked by the gemologist and stone-setter in close co-operation. The brilliant-cut diamond pavé-set surface, stretches all the way around the ring's outside surface. The inside surface is constituted by the so called Towe Silk pattern, having the appearance of winding paths. The Silk pattern reflects in fact the microscopic shape of perfect human skin. The ring is handcrafted and handset under microscope in one of the world’s finest high-end jewellery workshops in Geneva, Switzerland. The design is from 2015. The Dune ring's accentuated dome shape is elegantly contrasted by its inner Silk pattern surface of opposite and slighter convexity, and by ring shape's strong tapering towards the ring base, which enhances the ring's expression of a balanced combination of firmness and lightness. The combination of Towe Norlen’s modern Scandinavian design and Swiss top quality craftsmanship, makes the jewels of Towe Jewels unique. The ring is comfortable to wear despite it’s relatively large size, partly due to the slight convexity of the ring’s inner surface. The ring is hallmarked with the Poincon de Maitre (registered in Switzerland) for Towe Jewels and 750. The outer dimension of the ring is circa 19x30x32 mm. Weight 18,1 grams. The ring's inside diameter is 17 mm, US 6.5. However, this ring can be ordered in any size, stone type (such as different colours of diamond, sapphire, ruby or green tzavorite garnet) or gold colour (white, rose or yellow gold). For bespoke orders, the delivery time is circa 6 weeks.
