Antique Art Nouveau Ring 14K Yellow Gold Platinum Fluorite Cabochon
About the Item
This ring was created towards the end of the 19th century out of 14K gold and platinum. This unusual Art Nouveau jewel is set with a green fluorite cabochon in a gold mount within an outer ornamental surround decorated with half bull eyes. The sides of the ring head are decorated with cut out half circles. The heart shaped open work ring shoulders are decorated with two small platinum flowers each. On the inside of the ring band we can see two unidentified impressed rectangular marks.
