This is an absolutely breathtaking antique engagement or dinner ring that was very well crafted in solid platinum during the Edwardian era. This unique and highly detailed ring features a GIA certified, old European cut, diamond solitaire neatly prong set at the center of the stunning mosaic, milgrain etched, open work design in which is drenched with 72 additional old cut diamond accents throughout. The fiery center diamond weighs exactly 2.21 carats, showing a very nice large size, and displays spectacular brilliance while the smaller accents add super bright effects seen with every movement for a truly glamorous touch. This ring is beautifully decorated with etched designs at the gallery and has a lovely pyramid style shank that runs completely around the band, that adds a special look to this piece.
