About the Item

A stunning vintage Diamond and Sapphire engagement ring in luxurious platinum. Beautifully detailed this ring features incredible elaborate hand pierced filigree work, and mille grain beading~all completely hand done by a true master. Centering this gorgeous ring is a top quality 1.01 carat antique European cut diamond. Set flush into the mounting by six prongs the sparkling diamond has a truly stunning and dazzling appearance. Grading as VS2 clarity and ultra white G/H color the diamond is an extremely high quality gem~Comparable to what one would find at Tiffany's or the like. Set throughout, a total of fourteen single cut diamonds add to the drama and dazzle of this fantastic ring. Bead set amidst mille grain detailing the sparkling white diamonds grade as superb VVS/VS clarity and ultra white F/G color. Weighing a total of 0.28 carats the antique single cut diamonds are even set in the wings of a pair of graceful butterflies. Directly below the central diamond on the north and south sides of the ring are a pair of the most beautifully engraved butterflies we've ever seen on a piece of estate jewelry. Adorned with diamond wings, carved bodies and delicate antennae the butterflies are truly the crowning touch to this wonderful ring. Pierced throughout, a delicate hand done and time consuming process, this ring is an excellent example of fine quality craftsmanship. The mille grain beading is beautifully executed throughout the ring. Overall this ring just exudes quality in every way from the gorgeous center diamond to the exemplary craftsmanship displayed throughout in all of the detailing. Accenting the ring and adding a splash of vivid blue color are four petite sapphires set in the sides of the ring amidst scrolling engraving and a pair of delicate butterflies.
