1920s Art Deco 1.53 Carat GIA Certified Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring
About the Item
1920s Art Deco 1.53 Carat GIA Certified Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring. A rare and original piece is unique due to the four star-shaped accents on the shoulders of this ring. The center diamond is an Old European cut 1.53 carat diamond with GIA certification. The stone is set in four fishtail prongs with a W-shaped gallery underneath the stone. The gallery allows visibility from the side of the stone too - making it look larger than life! The round diamonds at the side total to .08 carat. These diamonds are set in star-shaped bezel frames before tapering to a smooth platinum shank. Total diamond weight on this simply beautiful ring is 1.61 carats.
The hallmark 100 IRID - 900 PLAT is written underneath the shank. This 1915 piece remains in great condition!
