About the Item

An impressive 1.23 carat ruby and 1.25 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold and platinum set three stone ring; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This fine and impressive ruby and diamond three stone ring has been crafted in 18k white gold with a platinum setting. The pierced decorated, basket style claw/prong settings display a central 1.23Ct round mixed cut ruby, flanked on either side by a 0.60Ct and a 0.65Ct Old European round cut diamond. The elevated, tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank. The ring is clearly hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the maker's mark for 'Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd' (P.PLD), and the marks for 18k gold and platinum (18&Pt). This impressive gemstone trilogy ring is supplied with an two independent diamond grading certificates for the diamonds in addition to an dependent diamond grading report card for the ruby. Condition This impressive vintage 1940s three stone ring is fine quality set with a ruby and very high color graded old cut diamonds.
