About the Item

Cabochon Sapphire Ring. By the late 1930s, jewellers working in the geometric Art Deco style were in the thrall of the machine age, and increasingly took inspiration from simple, industrial motifs, often in multicoloured gold. This aesthetic looks as strikingly modern now as it did then, as the wide, bicoloured band of this ring demonstrates. To top it off, this chic, French design is set with a beautiful cabochon of untreated Sri Lankan sapphire, with its famous shade of ‘cornflower’ blue. Effortlessly cool and very comfortable to wear, this bicolored design is perfect for any occasion.
