This cabochon is extraordinary for its depth, which gives the stone a beautiful interior play of light, shifting with the angle of the stone. Sri Lankan sapphires are the perfect choice for this historic cut, with the relative lightness of their famed ‘cornflower’ blue allowing light to shine beautifully through the stone without being obscured. This beguiling sapphire is set within a delicate quatrefoil setting set with rose diamonds - a simple and poetic touch.
