Art Deco 18ct White Gold and Platinum Diamond Three-Stone Engagement Ring
About the Item
This captivating Art Deco ring is elegant in the simplicity of its design. A stunning Old Mine Cut Diamond in the centre weighs 0.56 carats, and is set in a beautiful square grain setting. It is accompanied by a gorgeous baguette cut to either side and finished with beautiful millgrained rub-over settings. The two baguette stones total approximately 0.30 carats.
This is a wonderful Art Deco example of the use of Platinum and White Gold together to create a delicate and timeless piece. From the cut of the stones, the choice of metals, and the design, we date this beautiful ring to the 1920s or 1930s. It is stamped Platinum and 18ct Gold, and features the maker's mark 'JWG', which indicates to us that this in an English-made ring. It's a lovely antique diamond ring for that special someone in your life.
