Art Deco style 1.80-carat Old Mine-cut diamond and sapphire engagement ring in platinum, vintage from circa 1990. This jewel of bombé cluster design features a charming Old Mine-cut diamond millegrain-set to the center, surrounded by a halo of calibre-cut deep blue sapphires that flows onto the shoulders in an uninterrupted pattern; all stones in open-back settings, leading to a solid D-shape platinum shank. This is sure to be a head-turner at any event, from modest friend and family gatherings to formal gala and cocktail parties. Diamond: Old Mine-cut; estimated 1.80 carats (approximately 7.32 x 7.00 x 4.52 mm); J/K color (assessed); VS2 clarity (assessed). Sapphires: calibre-cut; estimated 1.30 carats in total; deep blue color. Later Portuguese import mark for platinum 900. Finger size: 56.5 (EU), but can be sized up or down. Gross weight: 6.62g.
