About the Item
A stunning 1.86 carat Burmese ruby is the focal point of this superb Victorian era ring. The principal stone displays an intense purplish red, certified by American Gemological Laboratories with no indication of heat treatment and origin Burma (Myanmar). It's claw set along a row of old mine diamonds, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold throughout. Unheated rubies make up less than 1% of all gem-quality rubies and one displaying this vivid, pigeon-blood color, saturation, origin and AGL pedigree are significant.
