Edwardian Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring, circa 1910
About the Item
In the centre of this beautifully handmade ring is an old cut diamond weighing 0.57 carat. It has been estimated as G in colour and SI2 in clarity. The sparkling stone is claw set within a platinum collet which attaches to the diamond studded shoulder. Each shoulder holds three small eight-cut diamonds all totalling to 0.12 carats. They match the centre diamond for quality and are grain set. Classically of the Edwardian era, the shank is made in 18 carat yellow gold.
