Eighteen Karat Rose Gold Contemporary Engagement Artisan Ring with Diamonds
About the Item
This jewelry art object is an engagement ring made of 18 karat rose gold with a flower radius of 5.5 cm. It was designed by the Berlin oil painter Polya Medvedeva and is encrusted with diamonds, aquamarines, powder rose sapphires, morganites, green sapphire, blue spinel, and velo opals.
The name of the piece is inspired by the Russian pagan myth about two birds of paradise, Sirin and Alkonost, painted by Viktor Vasnetsov in 1896. This ring opens a new high jewelry collection for the line dedicated to Eastern European myths, following Oriental, Mesopotamian, and Monotheistic collections.
We use top natural diamonds of VS clarity and F-G color, and we work with a gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century. Some of the gemstones used in this piece include a 7.01-carat unheated pear-cut green sapphire, big pear-cut aquamarines totaling 15.7 carats, and morganites and powder rose sapphires that are oval-cut and approximately 0.6-0.8 carats each.
