Priced to sell this beauty is not to be missed! Elegant simplicity well describes this exquisite solitaire Natural Fancy Cognac diamond ring which dates back to the 1915, a late Edwardian diamond single stone ring. The center diamond is Old Mine Cushion estimated o.25ct, Natural FANCY COGNAC in color and SI1 clarity. Very bright, clear and nice color saturation. The amazingly well made 18K Gold, nice solid mounting with the weight of 2.80 grams showcases the the Diamonds perfect within extended claw - crown setting, creating a beautiful side view, to the grooved shoulders and plain band. The band tappers from 3.34mm to 2.48 mm. The ring is in excellent condition and just being polished at some point in it's over 100 year history. English hallmarks: crown standard mark with 18K purity mark, London assay mark and the Date mark - 1915. Traces of the maker's mark The ring is currently a US size just under 8 1/2 ( UK size M ). It can be size up or down. This ring would make an absolutely stunning engagement , wedding ring or anniversary band. These antique old mine Cushion cut diamond pieces are becoming very hard to find in such great condition so this is one antique treasure not to be missed! Nice and solid ring that even could be worn by men. The replacement value- $3,500. Condition: Ring is in good condition, very little wear to the setting in the form of minor abrasions and knicks to the metals. Center diamond is in good condition , no visible bruising on the girdle.
