GIA 14.02 Carat Mystic Sapphire Halo Ring
About the Item
Mined in Tanzania, this GIA Certified Natural Color Changing 14.02 carat Pear cut Sapphire [Green to Purple] is an exceptionally rare form of Corundum which exhibits the rare and remarkable ability to change colors in different lighting. This color change only occurs in a select few of Sapphires mined that form with two light transmission windows, rather than just one. With an extraordinary color change of a Natural Alexandrite - The most knowledgeable jeweler would question this to be an Alexandrite, although in fact an earth-mined Natural Color Changing Sapphire. Highly prized due to the size of the Sapphire, as well as the even dispersion of color throughout the stone. The elevation due to the manner of the Halo mounting adds to this as well, allowing light to pass through freely - An excellent projection of the goldsmith's true artistry and talent. Halo contains 77 Nearly Colorless Nearly Flawless Round Brilliant cuts totaling 2 carats ranking an F-G Color & VVS2-VS2 Clarity surrounding Sapphire as well as down sides of shank. Mounting accented with Hand Engraved detailing as well. Stamped "K14" inside shank.
