This one of a kind marvel is a one of one in existence. Alexandrite at sizes greater 1 carat are rarely found across all geographic sources to begin with, but 1 carat stones from Brazil are even rarer. Sitting at 2.99 carats, this stone is a true rarity at is accompanied by just a handful of others like it. The stone exhibits a strong color change from greenish blue to reddish purple and has limited inclusions. The diminishing supply of Brazilian alexandrite and marvelous size and cut this stone exhibits make it an extremely scarce and alluring gem that will likely not be sourced again.

An alexandrite is prized for its natural ability to shift colors from a vibrant bluish-green under daylight to an alluring reddish-purple under incandescent light. As the Russian source depleted centuries ago, new sources have been discovered throughout the world yet none rival the quality coming out of Brazil. Brazilian quality stones are known for their strong color-change ability and their clarity; they are true marvels to gem connoisseurs and jewelry fanatics alike.
Crafted in 18kt white gold, this ring features a 2.99 ct. cushion cut natural Brazilian alexandrite. It is accented by four half moon diamonds set on the north, south, east and west points of the center stone weighing a total of 0.98 ct. Around the center arrangement of gems and along the shank, you'll see additional shimmering round diamonds weighing a total of 0.32 ct. The half moon diamonds are F-color, VS-2 clarity.
Ring size is 6.5 and can be sized if needed.
The ring comes with a full certificate of authenticity and gem report from a third party gemological institution.
