Contemporary Emerald and Diamond Toi-et-Moi Crossover Engagement Ring in 19.2kt White Gold, Portugal, 2000s. This jewel features a pear-shape emerald of a deep green color and a sparkly pear brilliant-cut diamond both talon-claw-set in open-back settings with open galleries, to an open crossover design accented with round brilliant-cut diamond set shoulders. This is the ring that no one could resist saying "yes" to. Main Diamond: pear brilliant-cut; approximately 2.20 carats; J/K color; VS1/VS2 clarity. Remaining Diamonds: 10 stones in total; round brilliant-cut; approximately 0.45ct in total; H/I color; VS clarity. Emerald approximately 2.70 carats; intense green color. Finger size: 52 (EU) but can be sized up or down. Gross weight: 7.4g. Lisbon hallmark for 19.2kt gold (800/1000); Lisbon maker’s mark “A” for an unidentified Portuguese jeweler. “Toi et moi” meaning “you and me” in French, this is arguably the most romantic ring style in history. Toi-et-moi refers to a ring with two gems that sit side by side or close to each other, symbolizing two souls becoming one.
