About the Item

You're looking at a truly breathtaking antique 3-stone ring that was crafted from solid .900 platinum and 14k yellow gold during the art deco period. The center stone is a 1.64 carat, GIA certified, natural ruby with no indications of heating. The ruby is prong set in a solid 14k yellow gold basket, has an old elongated cushion cut, and displays a gorgeously rich purplish red color. It is then accented by a pair of old mine cut diamonds, with a stone six-prong set to both the left and right sides. The diamonds total approximately 1.30 carats in weight and are fine quality with near-colorless I/J color and clean SI1/SI2 clarity. These sparkling diamonds perfectly complement the rich purplish red color of the ruby. This gorgeous antique three-stone ring could easily be used for an engagement ring or would make an equally beautiful right-hand ring. It remains in excellent and ready to wear condition and comes with the original GIA certification for the ruby.
