Natural Rough Diamond with 4 carats totals weight Engagement/Cocktail Ring. A Five Star Jewelry original design. This ring is one of a kind design that has been handmade with hand-selected diamonds by Mary Rupert of Five Star Jewelry in Austin, Texas. There is a unique, cushion-shaped, rose-cut, genuine rough diamond set in a 14 karat yellow gold bezel in the center that is a checkerboard "rose cut" and an amazing champagne light pinkish-brown color. We have set 16 round brilliant diamonds around the center in an innovative, negative space design. The side diamonds appear to be floating in their own space but they are secured each with their own handcrafted bezel. On the top and bottom of the center rough diamond there is a faceted pear shaped, champagne diamond/cognac diamond with the point facing outwards. The cognac/champagne diamonds add a special character to the ring and help bring out the natural earth tones in the center rough diamond. The overall design is an elongated oval shape that accentuates the hands making them look very elegant. With the rough diamond in center focus we have made this ring with a hand-fabricated satin/brushed finish. The brushed finish pairs perfectly with the natural rough diamond. The ring has a low profile design with open space making the ring a lightweight, but striking addition to any jewelry collection!
