About the Item
Stunning authentic Art Deco ring rendered n luxurious platinum... The ornately engraved and openwork mounting, featuring leaves and vines, enhanced with 20 old cut diamonds approx. 1.24 cts. Ring size 5.5 US and sizeable.
The central emerald cut stoned is translucent with natural inclusions (pls see photos and ask questions). Emeralds typically contain inclusions that are visible to the unaided eye.*
The condition is very good with negligible wear commensurate with age. *Note: The emerald has surface reaching inclusions and some abrasion observed with a 10x loupe and is in overall fair condition.
Emerald inclusions are often described as looking mossy or garden-like. They’re sometimes called “jardin,” which is French for garden. The trade generally accepts eye-visible inclusions in higher-quality emeralds. But when the inclusions have a negative effect on transparency and clarity, they also dramatically reduce value.
