About the Item
New platinum custom-made Ceylon sapphire ring containing unheated mixed princess cut natural yellow sapphire measuring 10.30 x 8.36 x 6.85 mm weighing 5.47 carat. Type II. Medium, strong, yellow color GIA Y 5/5. Set with 2 emerald cut diamonds & 6 Asscher cut diamonds with an approximate weight 2.00 ct's VS-1 VS-2, clarity G-H color.
Every now and then you come across that rare sapphire and this is one, this sapphire carries a perfect balance of hue, tone, and saturation giving off this flawless color with outstanding luster and brilliance with the highest color grade given to a yellow sapphire at 5/5.
We carry a very nice selection of pure yellow unheated sapphires from Sri Lanka however one in a hundred we will come across is a gemstone where it carries that perfect color this is one sapphire carries.
Our master jeweler has handcrafted this stunning ring design, set with two large emerald-cut diamonds flanked each side of the sapphire, and instead of setting round brilliant cut diamonds, we sourced six large Asscher cut diamonds which were handset on the ring shank and finished off with an 18kt yellow gold sapphire housing and claw prongs which carry the color of this sapphire in this custom ring.
