Victorian 1.50ct Diamond and Sapphire Five Stone Ring, c.1880s
About the Item
This gorgeous Victorian five stone ring features a trio of old cut diamonds, with two blue sapphires set in between. The central diamond is the largest at 0.70 carat, whilst the two on either end are 0.40 carat a piece. The pair of Sapphires are also old cut stones and weigh 0.50 carat a piece. The diamonds are of high quality, ranging in colour from F to G and matching at VS1 in clarity. A further sparkle comes from eight small rose cut diamonds set expertly in between the gems. The ring itself is crafted from 18 carat yellow gold and features wonderfully intricate carved detailing adorns the gallery and shank.
