About the Item
This is a wonderful sapphire and diamond ring from the 1950s period. The oval cut sapphire is untreated, of ceylon origin and a cornflower blue tone. It is a rare and impressive 26.93 carats and sits in a 6 clawed platinum mount. Each shoulder has been expertly set with a mixture of single cut and baguette cut diamonds.
