About the Item

A stunning, fine and impressive antique French 3.24 carat diamond dress ring in platinum; part of our diverse jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique French diamond ring has been crafted in platinum. The rectangular pierced decorated, scrolling platinum setting displays two stunning Old European cut fancy colored feature diamonds, weighing 1.21ct and 1.08ct. The exceptional feature fancy colored diamonds are positioned in a vertical linear arrangement and individually collet set with millegrain decorated borders. The feature diamonds have been set to beautifully complement each other in differing fancy diamond colors, with one tinted yellow and the other tinted brown. The stunning diamonds are flanked to the apex and the nadir of the central design with two impressive Old European cut diamonds. The central arrangement is set within a rectangular millegrain decorated border, incorporating a further eighteen impressive supporting pavé set Old European cut diamonds. The trifurcated elevated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend smoothly with the plain platinum shank. The exterior of the ring shank is hallmarked with the French platinum hallmark (dog's head). This impressive fancy colored diamond ring is supplied with two independent diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Condition This antique diamond ring is excellent quality, set with stunning feature fancy colored diamonds displaying a fine brilliance and presence. The impressive supporting diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The fancy colored diamond ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a clear French hallmark to the exterior of the shank. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of antique jewellery/estate jewelry.
