About the Item
Unveiling the epitome of bespoke luxury - Paul Amey's Nugget Ring, a true masterpiece meticulously handcrafted in radiant 9K yellow gold. Each ring is a unique creation, a testament to the artisanal brilliance of Paul Amey himself.
The natural Australian is 2.1 grams with a 3pt and 1pt round EF SI brilliant diamonds chenier set against one side of the nugget and a natural Keshi pearl set on the other side, with vine encircling the nugget, finished with Paul Amey’s signature texture down one side of the ring.
This Nugget ring was designed and hand crafted by multi award-winning jeweller Paul Amey in Australia. Stamped with his registered makers mark and precious metal marks and was designed and completed with over 5 hours of labour and finished in December 2022. All components are masterfully handcrafted by Paul Amey with no casting or 3D imaging used. Diamond and stone settings were all carried out by Paul Amey.
The Nugget ring is size L (GB) or 6 (US). Total weight 4.65 grams.
Paul Amey Jeweller
PAUL AMEY is an ARTIST, DESIGNER, MASTER GOLDSMITH and a fellow of the Gold & Silversmiths Guild of Australia. Paul Amey was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia with one grandfather a watchmaker, the other a jeweller. Jewellery was obviously in his blood! Paul has been a designer and manufacturing jeweller for over 50 years and is well renowned for his work in creating and producing beautiful high-quality jewellery with a dramatic flair completely by hand. Paul is still passionate about designing and producing special pieces. “I have fun with jewellery and so should customers - I give people choices they don’t get from other jewellers.” Paul has seen a great number of design changes and influences come and go, but he says “the fundamentals have always remained the same skilful design, excellent craftsmanship and an attention to detail.” Like the masters of old, using time-honoured techniques, he is creating modern masterpieces. “Each custom piece is crafted completely by hand, no computers, no mass production. My pieces are absolute original works of art, whether they be made from silver, gold or platinum.” Paul has a strong desire and flair for dramatic pieces, an early example being the making of the perpetual Western Australian Gold Swan Award. Also in recognition of his hand craftsmanship was the acceptance of his work by Sotheby's under its Art Category and recently being the recipient of two Precious Metal Awards.
