Unveiling the "Square Wedge" Garnet Ring – a breathtaking symphony of design and opulence by the renowned artist, Paul Amey.
This luxurious masterpiece is meticulously crafted in Sterling Silver, featuring the unmistakable Paul Amey textured finish in 18K yellow gold down one side, creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow.
At the heart of this exquisite creation is a 4.15ct trilliant natural garnet, a true gem of rare beauty, delicately claw-set to capture every facet of its brilliance.
Adding a touch of elegance and sophistication, the design incorporates diamonds strategically placed for maximum impact. A 5pt and 2pt diamond are rub-set into the textured finish, creating an interplay of precious elements. As you ascend the top of the ring, four graduated diamonds (8pt, 3pt, 2pt, and 1pt) are artfully rub-set, leading the gaze to the stunning trilliant garnet centre piece.
The ”Square Wedge” Garnet ring showcases the perfect marriage of Sterling Silver and 18ct yellow gold, a testament to Paul Amey's commitment to craftsmanship and luxury.
This “Square Wedge” Garnet ring was designed and hand crafted by multi award-winning jeweller Paul Amey in Australia. Stamped with his registered makers mark and precious metal marks and was designed and completed with over 12 hours of labour and finished in November 2023. All components are masterfully handcrafted by Paul Amey with no casting or 3D imaging used. Diamond and stone settings were all carried out by Paul Amey.
The “Square Wedge“ Garnet ring is size O 1/2 (GB) or 7 3/4 (US). All diamonds are EF SI round white natural diamonds. Total weight 9 grams.

Paul Amey Jeweller
PAUL AMEY is an ARTIST, DESIGNER, MASTER GOLDSMITH and a fellow of the Gold & Silversmiths Guild of Australia. Paul Amey was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia with one grandfather a watchmaker, the other a jeweller. Jewellery was obviously in his blood! Paul has been a designer and manufacturing jeweller for over 50 years and is well renowned for his work in creating and producing beautiful high-quality jewellery with a dramatic flair completely by hand. Paul is still passionate about designing and producing special pieces. “I have fun with jewellery and so should customers - I give people choices they don’t get from other jewellers.” Paul has seen a great number of design changes and influences come and go, but he says “the fundamentals have always remained the same skilful design, excellent craftsmanship and an attention to detail.” Like the masters of old, using time-honoured techniques, he is creating modern masterpieces. “Each custom piece is crafted completely by hand, no computers, no mass production. My pieces are absolute original works of art, whether they be made from silver, gold or platinum.” Paul has a strong desire and flair for dramatic pieces, an early example being the making of the perpetual Western Australian Gold Swan Award. Also in recognition of his hand craftsmanship was the acceptance of his work by Sotheby's under its Art Category and recently being the recipient of two Precious Metal Awards.
