About the Item
This is a beautiful, 18ct yellow gold diamond cluster ring. The ring features a central old mine cut diamond and is surrounded by nine smaller old cut diamonds in a cluster style. The diamonds are silver set in cut down collet mounts and this leads us to believe that the setting is late Georgian/early Victorian. The ring started life as a Victorian brooch but a modern shank has been added transforming it into a wonderful ring. This work was wonderfully carried out by master jeweller Gaetano Chiavetta.
