About the Item

This little Victorian classic is a cutie! Crafted in 10K yellow gold with a small rose hue, the lightly detailed shank is excellently designed. Reminiscent on a roman column, the scroll design only adds to the overall look of this piece. Where the two shanks meet is a elongated navette shape that carefully hold the center piece. In the center, placed between two small prong set grayish white seed pearls is a deep red doublet. A doublet is a assembled gemstone composed of layers. A small piece of the gem is slivered off in to a thin slab, then sandwiched between usually two pieces of class. A method used often in the Victorian era, to extend the use of a gem. This ring is a beautiful piece of history and a fun pop of color to any outfit.
