Victorian 'In Memory Of' Enamel Mourning Ring
About the Item
This is an exquisite mourning ring from the mid Victorian era. The head of the ring has the words 'In Memory Of' in black enamel with a carved floral border. The ring has been very well preserved and the enamel is in excellent condition. The shoulders have enamel scroll detailing with a split band. Inside the ring it has the words 'Oliver Ob Jan 6th 1854 Ae 63'. This is a perfect mourning ring and a great piece of history.
