Vintage 1950s Sapphire and Diamond Yellow Gold Cocktail Ring
About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage 0.60 carat natural blue sapphire and 0.30 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold and 18 karat white gold set half eternity / dress ring; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This exceptional, fine and impressive sapphire and diamond half eternity ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold with an 18k white gold setting.
The ring displays three very well color matched channel set princess cut diamonds set alternately between four square cut natural blue sapphires.
The angular, subtly elevated ring shoulders smoothly integrate the setting with the plain hallmarked 18k yellow gold ring shank.
The hallmarks include with the maker's mark 'SFJ', the gold guarantee mark (crown), the 18k gold fineness mark 750, the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head) and the date letter for 1950 (p).
This versatile vintage half eternity ring, which may also be worn as a dress ring, is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
Condition
This 1950s dress ring is exceptional quality set with very well color matched, very high color graded, very high clarity graded diamonds and natural blue sapphires. The ring is a very good gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with very clear hallmarks to the interior of the ring shank.
