Miles Davis’ monumental ‘kind of blue’ album was initially inspired by a childhood memory of his. walking home on a dark Arkansas road he heard this epic gospel music around him but didn’t know where it came from. He was swallowed by the sound - it was above him, in front of him, behind him, moving through him. The memory and feeling that he had in that moment was what he wanted to get back to through ‘Kind of Blue’. That album, that beautifully emotional and transcendent album inspired the name of this ring — a ring that I dreamed up during a time, in a place, while trying to bring myself back to a memory. ‘Kind of Mood’ is a ring composed of three parallel bars and an open circle on the inside. The ring also features a bezel set 14mm ‘mood stone’. I believe that ‘mood colors’ should be left to personal interpretation. However, each ring comes with a color chart in case you need a guide. Please note: The color of your mood stone changes depending on your body temperature. Mood stones are made of acrylic with a thermoreactive film. The film layer is very sensitive and needs to be protected from water and chemicals to reduce risk of damage.
