Greek Sicily 461 BC Segesta Ancient Coin Flip Signet Ring in 18kt Yellow Gold

Signet flip ring with an ancient coin from Segesta city. Fabulous coin signet ring, crafted with ancient flip technique in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. It is mounted with a very rare, genuine and authentic ancient Greek silver didrachm coin from the city of Segesta in Sicity, the southern Italy. The coin has a weight of 7.98 grams and was struck between the 461BC and 415 BC. Reverse description: Muscular hound dog standing to the left in a base and facing back, with a shell on top. Obverse description: Head of the nymph Segesta, with hairdress wearing a diadem, earrings and a necklace, facing to the left in plain campus. The name of the city Σεγκέστα below. Weight: 16.20 Grams, (10.38 Dwt.). Size: 6-7 and can be sized. Measurements: 25 mm by 30 mm (0.98 x 1.18 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the Italian gold assay mark, ".750". Literature: SNG.ANS.622. Berlin MK AM 18214317 Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this ring is excellent.
