Centering an alexandrite double cabochon weighing approximately 4.00 carats total. Semi-transparent medium green with moderate color change to purple-brown. Displaying 'cat's eye' chatoyancy - natural Sri Lankan in origin. Prong set in an undulating recessed white gold square form. Flanked by woven motif panels of white gold. Stamped for 18 karat gold. Numbered with maker's mark for Jones & Woodland Co. Circa: 1935. Ring size: 10 and sizable. Measures: North to South 10.5 mm and sits 7.5 mm high. Total weight: 14.3 grams.
