A late 18th century agate cameo later mounted by Codognato, the oval cameo measiring 2,2cm x 1,9cm and depicting Platone in profile looking left, rub-over set in gold mount with black enamel decorations and tapering shoulders, cameo circa 1790, the setting is 18kt gold.
The top measuring 2,6cm x 2,1cm, finger Size : 8, gross weight 20,9 grams.
