About

A stooped single legged figure, who may be a version of Abraxus, I am not sure,
is carved on a raised flat topped stone which has a green/black hue which I think is Heliotrope and would have been brought back to England as a memento
of the Grand Tour and mounted in Gold for a member of the travellers aristocratic family. The mount has acanthus leaf divided shoulders to a plain and unmarked shank.
