A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.21 carat old European round cut diamond, 18k yellow gold solitaire ring; an addition to our antique estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive antique solitaire ring has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The ring displays a 1.21 carat old European round cut diamond eight claw set to the original 18k yellow gold channeled mount. The subtly flared elevated ring shoulders have a channeled form which integrates into the claw setting. The antique solitaire ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18k gold fineness mark (18), the date letter for 1909 (O), the London Assay Office hallmark (leopard's head), and the partially worn maker's mark for Samuel Smith & Son Ltd (SS). This antique unisex solitaire ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading certificate. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This exceptional yellow gold solitaire is exceptional quality, set with a very high color graded, old cut diamond, displaying a fine white color, brilliance and presence. Although the diamond is a clarity grade of SI 1, due to a feather inclusion, there are no unsightly black inclusions present. The ring is in exceptional condition with clear hallmarks to the interior of the shank; the maker's mark is partially legible in keeping with age.
