1920s Antique 16.60 Carat High Zircon and Diamond Platinum Solitaire Ring
About the Item
A stunning, fine and impressive antique 16.60 carat high zircon and 0.06 carat diamond, platinum solitaire ring; part of our 1920s jewellery collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive 1920s ring has been crafted in platinum.
The substantial ring displays a feature 16.60ct round faceted cut high zircon, six claw set in relief to the centre of the original setting.
The elevated, pierced decorated ring shoulders are each ornamented with three pavé set eight-cut diamonds, integrating with the main setting and blending seamlessly with the ring shank.
The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the platinum mark (PLAT).
This impressive antique zircon solitaire rings supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.
Such a large zircon, in this stunning colour and brilliance, in the original ring setting is a rare example and becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
NOTE: * A high zircon is a natural zircon which has not suffered damage from self-radiation during the process of the stone’s creation; their gemmological properties are higher for density, hardness and refractive index. The zircon has high lustre and dispersion, in
addition to the appearance of extra facets facilitated by double-refraction; each of these factors provides fine brilliance and flashes of fire.

Condition
This stunning gemstone solitaire ring is excellent quality, set with stunning high zircon displaying stunning colour, brilliance and presence.
The diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.
The ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the interior of the shank.
