About the Item

A Ring with Amethyst, Art -Deco styled and custom-made in Sweden in 1942. Being neutral this country was able to keep on living in peace and safety while the rest of Europe was busy fighting each other. Some people in Stockholm enjoyed life in full. Someone chose this oval cut natural Amethyst to be set in Silver openwork bezel and to be attached to the band in solid 18K Rose Gold. Stone: 17 mm x 13 mm x 8 mm deep /ca. 9 ct. Minor inclusions and flaws are visible under x10 magnification. Swedish Ring, marked 18K; unknown maker, Stockholm; year marks Q8 - made in 1942. Size: Ø 6.5 US / 16.92 mm. Sizing is possible for additional payment. Weight: 6 grams Used condition, well-preserved ring. Minor wear to the surface of the stone. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described.
