This stunning, fine and impressive marquise engagement ring has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated ring setting is ornamented with a stunning and rare eight claw set 1.71ct marquise cut diamond. The shoulders of the ring are embellished with a total of eight pavé set diamonds, in a combination of Dutch and mine cuts, totalling 0.04ct. The decorated ring shoulders of this platinum marquise engagement ring integrate with the feature setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank; the ring has a fine and delicate shank, as often the case with original antique rings. This marquise cut diamond engagement ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. The platinum engagement ring is supplied with a European Diamond Report (EDR) for the principal diamond, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. Such antique marquise cut diamonds in this very high grade are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
