This absolutely breathtaking antique diamond and sapphire engagement ring was crafted from solid platinum during the art deco period and features a GIA certified old European diamond solitaire neatly prong set at its center. This incredible and chunky center stone certainly catches the eye with its very large and attractive size, weighing exactly 3.09 carats, and displays a lovely and warm Q to R range in color with eye-clean VS2 clarity. Its beautiful puffed open work top is adorned with additional old cut diamonds and synthetic sapphires in which add glamorous sparkles reflecting from the diamonds and a truly rich touch with the dark blue color of the sapphires. Delicate milgrain etching is also seen throughout the gallery, and the shoulders are elegantly detailed with outstanding hand etched wheat work patterns throughout all sides for such a wonderful look on the finger.
