About the Item

Extremely rare and highly sought after, estate GIA Certified Type 2a or IIa large oval cut 6.00 carat natural pink diamond and white diamond three stone ring set in 18 karat white and rose gold. This is a very noteworthy and very collectible natural pink diamond that is Internally Flawless and is certified by the Gemological Institute of America. It also comes with a GIA Type IIa certificate. Type IIa stones are the most desirable by collectors. As a result of the compounded elements within, Type IIa stones rarely contain internal imperfections and are famous for their color. Type IIa diamonds are the most valued and collectable. They contain either very little or no Nitrogen atoms in the crystal structure of the stones. They represent only 1% - 2% of all diamonds in the world. The pink diamond ring has extreme brilliant sparkle, and the clarity is perfect. It is flanked on both sides with VVS clarity, D color half moon diamonds. The oval shape shows up very large and showy and is just spectacular in real life! The oval brilliant cut natural pinkish brown internally flawless diamond weighs 5.01 carat. GIA Report Number 100758160866. It is securely talon prong set in rose gold and a pink enamel basket. The stone measures 13.36 mm x 9.40 mm x 6.16 mm. Surrounding the pink oval brilliant diamond is a halo of 34 natural pink round brilliant diamonds set in rose gold, further surrounded by another halo of white round brilliant diamonds. On each side of the pink oval diamond are moon shaped diamonds that are surrounded by a halo of round brilliant white diamonds, as well as diamonds on each side of the shank giving it even more sparkle from every angle. The small pink round brilliant diamonds have a clarity grade of VS and have a combined total weight of approximately .15 carat. The white small round brilliant diamonds have a combined approximate weight of .39 carat with the clarity grade of VS and color grade of F. The half moon diamonds have a combined total weight .45 carat with a clarity grade of VVS and color grade of D. Ring measures approximately 18 mm long x 18 mm wide x 10 mm deep. Weighs 6.7 grams.
