About the Item

This sweet little ring has effortless details and stunning color. Crafted in 10k yellow gold the tapered shanks have hand carved floral design that compliments the center buttercup perfectly. In the center is a classic butter cup shape that was wildly popular in the Victorian era. The center of the butter cup is a green glass doublet. A doublet is a slice of a gem sandwiched between two pieces of glass. This practice was common in this time to bring the price down and make the gem go further. This Green can either be made from tourmaline or emerald. This ring would be a wonderful addition to a vintage collection or pop of color to any outfit.
