About the Item

A stunning 2.30 carat Ceylon sapphire and 1.38 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold trilogy ring; part of our diverse gemstone jewellery and estate jewelry collections. This stunning, fine and impressive trilogy engagement ring has been crafted in 18k white gold. The pierced decorated, contemporary setting displays a feature vintage (circa 1940) 2.30ct oval cut Ceylon* sapphire. The sapphire is flanked on either side by an antique (circa 1900) diamond, a 0.64ct and a 0.74ct Old European pear cut. The elevated, tapering pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain ring shank. The ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the 18k gold mark (18CT), which is worn but legible. This stunning gemstone trilogy ring is supplied with two independent diamond grading certificates for the feature diamonds, in addition to an independent diamond grading report card for the sapphire. The ring is also supplied with a sapphire report card and certificate from the Gemmological Certification Services, London. * Ceylon sapphires (mined only in Sri Lanka) are known for their unique color, ranging from very pale blue to vibrant almost electric blue. The colors noted within Ceylon sapphires occur naturally and do not tend to be heat treated, the most sought after known as the cornflower blue. Images do not always reflect the true color and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual color and showcases each stone. Condition This stunning gemstone ring is exceptional quality set with a stunning Ceylon sapphire and very high color graded old cut diamonds, displaying fine white color and brilliance. The ring is an exceptional gauge of gold and is in excellent condition with a partially worn, but legible hallmark to the interior of the shank.
