A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.33 carat Basaltic sapphire and 0.88 carat diamond, platinum trilogy ring; part of our diverse antique jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive trilogy sapphire ring has been crafted in platinum.
The pierced decorated setting of this 1920s ring displays a feature claw set 1.33ct cushion cut Basaltic sapphire.
The sapphire is flanked on either side a transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond, totalling 0.88ct.
The elevated and pierced decorated ring shoulders integrate with the main setting and blend seamlessly with the plain hallmarked ring shank.
The trilogy ring is hallmarked to the interior of the shank with the fineness mark for platinum (PLAT).
This impressive antique ring is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card, in addition to a sapphire report card and certificate supplied by the Gemmological Certification Services, London*.
NOTE: * This documentation accredits the sapphire originating in Basaltic deposits and certifies that the gemstone shows no indication of heat treatment; non-heated sapphires are a scarcity.

Condition
This stunning sapphire and diamond ring is excellent quality, set with a fine and impressive sapphire, displaying a fine colour, brilliance and presence.
The impressive high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour and brilliance.
The setting has been professionally strengthened; this does not detract from the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the piece.
This trilogy ring is an excellent gauge of platinum and is in excellent condition.
The hallmark to the interior of the shank has wear in keeping with age and location.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine trilogy sapphire ring from the 1920s.
