This three-stone ring features a GIA certified 1.01 carat F VS1 antique-cut cushion center and a pair of F/G VS antique-cut pear shape side stones, weighing 0.86 carats. The three diamonds are set in a beautiful pavé platinum mounting giving the ring a large look. Made in the USA.
Antique-cut diamonds like these were cut by hand in earlier eras, often with less advanced technology and fewer tools than modern diamond cutters have at their disposal. As a result, old cut diamonds can have slightly different proportions and angles than more modern cuts, adding a unique and romantic character.
The ring is a size 6 but can be resized quickly and easily at no cost.
